A shared courtyard at the heart of a commercial setting our proposal uses warm tones, natural materials and layered planting to create a sheltered, human-scaled retreat within the city fabric. Carefully integrated shading softens light and climate to encourage the space to be utilised for informal meetings and offer moments of pause and connection, supporting a sense of community within the building.
