Manon Bertoia

Project Lead

Born and raised in France, Manon completed her Master of Architecture at Marne-la-Vallée (Paris), with formative experiences studying in Mendrisio (Italian Switzerland) and working across Paris and San Francisco. After graduating in 2015, she obtained her French architectural registration (HMONP) in 2016, before following her instinct to Australia the same year: a journey shaped by curiosity, cultural discovery, and a desire to broaden her creative and professional horizons.
She is now a proud Australian citizen and holds a Certificate (2018) and Diploma (2021) in Project Management completed in Sydney.

Before joining BMA in 2022, Manon gained extensive local experience in multiple Sydney architecture practices since 2017, along with international exposure across three continents. She contributed to projects ranging from government-led initiatives and educational facilities to commercial developments, landscape architecture, interiors, and bespoke residential design. She is particularly drawn to human-scaled projects where intuition, atmosphere, and lived experience guide design decisions as much as technical expertise.

At BMA, Manon brings enthusiasm, clarity, and a collaborative spirit to every project, fostering strong relationships with clients, consultants, and colleagues.

Outside the office, Manon enjoys movement, arts, music, and comedy, drawing energy from Sydney’s outdoors and vibrant culture. She brings the same curiosity and joy to her creative pursuits as she does to design.
